Can you guess what this is? Sesame seed milk! Spiked with nutmeg, cinnamon & vanilla.
It's REALLY rich and pretty delicious. Amazing in smoothies or used as the base in chia puddings.
I soaked 1 cup of sesame seeds overnight, then rinsed and drained them in the morning. Next I blended with 4 cups of water, 6 soaked baking dates, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, some vanilla bean seeds and a pinch of pink Himalayan salt. Keep blending until really really really smooth.
I finished by straining and squeezing through muslin.
