I'm Kelly, a mother and creative based in Auckland, New Zealand. I like to slurp noodles, make friends with dogs and have a good chat.
I'm thrilled you've stopped by. Please have a look around and wander through my recipes. Hopefully it is obvious that I've got a serious passion for delicious, real food. My aim is to bring home cooks some inspiration for those everyday meals we share with the people we love.
My first cookbook was called Wholehearted and came out in 2017. My work has also been published in Whole, a gorgeous collection of recipes from New Zealand women working in the wellness space and in more recently in The RNZ Cookbook.

Over the last decade my food writing and photography work has appeared in Dish Magazine, Fashion Quarterly, Homestyle, Remix Magazine, Green Ideas, Little Treasures and more. I’ve worked with some of New Zealand’s best-loved food brands. You’ll regularly hear me on Jesse Mulligan’s “Afternoons” on RNZ and I’ve featured on TV3’s “The Project” a bunch of times. I really enjoy stepping out from being the camera / kitchen bench / computer and being able to share my food passion in those different ways.
